What is deforestation?

Deforestation is the name for the cutting down forests for paper, timber, oil and more.

What effect is it for animal and plant species

Deforestation causes the land mass to decrees at a huge rate (a foot ball field a second) so animals will have less food like plants and animals (100 animal and plant species are wiped out each day)

What other effects will it have?

Lots! rain forests are in charge of 20% of oxygen (trees clean the air) we have.
